Hi! I have been stuck at 133 lbs for a while now. I did the slim down and started at 140. I have been following the meal plans here or switching for a slim down or BD recipe (or from Nancy’s IG account). Yes, I would say haven't been as strict in the recent months but I needed somewhat of a break. I am working out 5-6 hours a week at least and have been doing the ab rehab since August. I’m puzzled why my scale isn’t moving at all. Hoping you can help me.
@lishwallace hey there! how far from your goal are you? Are your measurements also changing? have you been doing IF or time restricted eating windows?
Well my pre-baby weight was 126-128 so I kinda wanted to get there. I haven’t taken my measurements in a while tbh. I’m not doing IF or time restricted eating. I usually takes all snacks because otherwise my energy levels plummet and I’m nervous about getting too hungry. I workout at 5 am almost every morning and I need something before. How would I even try fasting with working out?
@lishwallace . yes i think the best next steps would be to try either IF or time restricted eating windows. You can read all about both in your bible diet PDF. Working out fasted can be an adjustment but usually works well for most. You can use UCAN pre workout and you should be fine performance wise. Why don't we start there and see what happens? You can also use UCAN in-between meals to help keep blood sugar stable.
@lishwallace Yes, it's ok to have UCAN more than once in the day if you feel you need it. You can still have your cup of coffee even when taking UCAN since UCAN does not have caffeine 👌. Just keep in mind that if you are doing Intermittent Fasting (IF) then you can have black coffee in the morning but anything else will end the fasting window. For time restricted eating (TRE), you can only have water before your eating window starts.
@lishwallace Five days a week is what studies show gets benefits but it can be done more! Nancy likes for most of us to have one high carb / cheat day to switch it up 👍
@molliec11 I think that one day a week is best. Two day maybe max? Are you looking to add like a couple hundred 'fun' calories a few days a week or something?
@molliec11 ok got it. So I think it depends. Research shows that taking 1-2 days "off" actually is ok via health benefits, but in regards to results as in physical results, I think we need trial and error. For me, I can totally get away with doing that. But I have had many people that I have worked with that kind of can't. So I say, lets try it and see!
